Title: Warm Bodies

Author: Isaac Marion

Date Completed: 9 June 2016

Zombies are NOT my thing. I'm 99.9% not interested in books or movies about zombies. Maybe it's the cannibalism aspect of it. I don't know, but ick. Anyways, when I saw the movie trailer for this story a few years ago I was intrigued. It seemed to be less gory and love saved the day...so I filed it away as a book I might try in the future whenever I next wanted a break from my usual reading niches.

While the beginning was a little bit too zombie for my taste, it was necessary to set up the undead part of the world Marion created. It didn't take long for the story to draw me in and for me to totally lose track of time while reading it. The romance aspects were awkwardly cute. What actually saved the day was left rather vague, but I'd guess it was love and acceptance of others? Yay for happy endings though!
