Conjoined Twins

One of our volunteers is going through probate records looking for slave names in order to create an index. Usually you find what'd you expect in each file (i.e. inventory, bills of sale, wills, etc.), but sometimes you find something unique. This week probably goes down as the most bizarre thing found thus far in this multi-year project.

"Two headed Negro Girl - Milly-Christina or 'Carolina Twins, - A great natural Curiosity' $25,000"
