Victor and Victrola

Old advertisements in the newspapers are always entertaining. This one originally caught my eye because of my love for vintage dances, but upon a closer reading I learned a bit of trivia about records I did not know. Early on the records were designed to work with specific machines, hence the Victor record label for the Victrola.
