What beautiful weather we have had lately! Unfortunately after my spring cleaning and planting days last week it was back to work at the library indoors. Still catching up on email and other tasks that piled up while I was away while soaking up every minute of my morning and afternoon breaks outside.

Little Daisy re-sprained her paw again last week, but after resting it over the weekend appears to be healed up. She wanted lots of snuggling the first few days though.

Our chicks are growing up so fast! We were gone for just 2 days and they sprouted so many new feathers! We're hoping to move them outdoors in a couple weeks as their dust is starting to coat the dining room. But they are so cute to watch sleep, peep, and explore.

Our older ladies are laying like crazy! We had nearly 2 dozen eggs laid over the weekend! Elsie graced with a giant double yolker again too!

This past weekend we had a lovely visit with Hillary, Erik, V & J down in Augusta, GA before the military moves them overseas. We had delicious food, 2 and 4-year old entertainment, testing out some virtual reality, and played an epic game of Catan. On Saturday they took us up to see the Savannah River and the old Augusta dam and canal. It was nice warm day for a walk and photography. It's been a while since I had time to be a bit artsy. I'll leave you with lots of photos to scroll through. :-)
