Re-learning DSLR Exposure

Good morning, this post is mainly just to share a slew of photographs. One of the goals of this digital minimalism venture for the month of July is spending more time finally wrapping my mind around how manual exposure works. So, I've been spending the last two weeks figuring out the menus/buttons on my camera and then trying my hand on the flowers, food, and critters around the house.
