Wedding Shower

This busy season of farm transition has meant less time to write and post, but I'm slowly making my way through the backlog. About 2 weeks ago my brother and his fiance had a lovely wedding shower on the first cool day of the season. I'm not sure how some of the ladies tolerated 25 degree drop in temp in those dresses! I was barely snug in my cozy wool sweater. It was nice meeting some of her relations and visiting with a few of my own over lunch. The airplane (flight attendant) decor was so cute!

The showering of gifts left them ready to cook and host for a full table and keep clean with plenty of towels. My mother decided to spice up the gift opening and made them open her gift with oven mitts! Haha! Good time had by all.
